STAFF

Lisa Bouchard, LMT, LAc
Lisa began the road to bodywork with a philosophy degree. Her first encounter with any kind of massage was through a shiatsu class. Working with her hands was a perfect counterbalance to philosophical pursuits. Lisa was formally trained in both therapeutic massage and shiatsu at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. Oriental medicine has always been particularly intriguing to her because of it's broad understanding of human experience and it's wisdom in regards to health. In 2001 Lisa earned her masters degree in acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture. Lisa offers you a unique blend of these various practices. Lisa Is currently refining her manual skills at the Collége d'Études Osteopathiques, in Montréal.

David Bell, LAc, MAc
David received his Masters degree in acupuncture and herbal medicine from the Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California, in 2009.  His related experience includes positions in the Five Branches University library and herbal pharmacy, as well as manager of the Staff of Life's vitamin and Chinese Medicine departments.  David is especially adept at treating musculoskeletal injuries and pain.  David recently completed a three week Thai Massage intensive in Thailand and is eagerly incorporating this deeply corrective system of stretching and massage into his practice.

Karen Bravo, LMT,CPP
Karen graduated from Headhunters Spa Tech Institute in Ipswich Massachusettes in 2005 as a  massage and Polarity therapist .  She is currently pursuing her certification in medical massage.  Karen’s great range as a therapist spans stress relief; injury specific work; as well as the subtler energy work of polarity that allows for evaluation and balancing of the individual on physical, emotional and spiritual levels.  Karen was enrolled in the athletic training program at Endicott College but switched over to massage because it’s more comprehensive and holistic.  Karen offers an “All About You” package.  It is a series of five 90 minute massage/polarity sessions. It starts with an 1/2 hour of evaluation and goalsetting where you and Karen create a concrete framework within which to achieve your wellness goals.

Lynn Bridges
Lynn provides office support at MassageCraft.  She brings excellent customer service, leadership and marketing skills to the practice. We are fortunate to be reaping the benefits of Lynn's many years of experience in business. Lynn started out as a cosmetologist and shortly thereafter became the owner of  two hair salons. In recent years Lynn has held management positions in a variety of retail settings.  All the while she has raised a family of four.  Lynn is the mastermind behind our exclusive email offers.  It is Lynn who gives you that warm welcome when you come through the door. You'll recognize her upbeat voice on the phone gently reminding you of your next appointment.

Carol Howard MEd, MA.
Carol is a foot reflexologist and a polarity therapist. She has a background in special education and theater. Her first foray into bodywork was through a course in Foot Reflexology in 1988. “Oh, the stories the feet can tell”, Carol is fond of saying. Carol went on to graduate from the Polarity Realization Institute in 1996. She brings both modalities to MassageCraft. Carol’s work is deeply restorative and balancing. Her gentle style is for people of all ages and she especially likes to work with children. In her spare time Carol is a hospice volunteer and a “garden angel,” tending to the gardens of those who are no longer able.

David Reece, LAc, MAc
David was awarded a Masters degree in acupuncture in 2000 from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Hallendale, Florida.  David has studied and taught Tai Qi and Qi gong for over 15 years.  A passion for Chinese philosophy led David to pursue a career in acupuncture.  David believes that the key to maintaining wellbeing lies in balancing energy.
